e-Residency in Estonia

The e-Residency programme allows anyone to become an e-resident of Estonia. On obtaining this status, you will receive a digital ID card that gives you access to the country’s administrative services and recognises you as part of its digital community.

  • It does not grant physical residence rights or citizenship.
  • It provides the possibility to carry out numerous formalities digitally, such as signing documents or setting up a company in Estonia without the need to go there.
  • It is a way of accessing the Estonian digital administration, comparable to carrying a notary with you at all times.

Method of application for Estonian e-Residency:

All applications must be submitted on the official Estonian government website. If you wish to obtain e-Residency, please contact us here.

Necessary documentation:

  • Passport or ID card.
  • Passport photograph.
  • Reason for the application.
  • Visa or Mastercard.

Sending the application form:

After making the payment you will receive an email confirming that the process is underway. Cost: 100-120€.

Review process

The Estonian Police/Borders service will verify that all your details are correct and will notify you by email that the review process has been completed. Duration: 2-5 weeks.

Delivery

If your application is approved, you will receive an invitation to:

  • Take delivery of the e-Residency kit at the place you selected on making the application.
  • You must bring your passport or ID card with you.
